Rewoven Privacy Policy
Welcome to Rewoven, a mobile application developed by AllTooDev Limited ("AllTooDev", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Rewoven mobile application (the "App").
Rewoven is designed to respect your privacy and minimise data collection wherever possible.
Information Collection and Use
Rewoven does not collect, transmit, or store personally identifiable information (PII) on our own servers.
All data you create in the App — including vinyl records, books, artwork, play history, reading sessions, and preferences — is stored exclusively in your personal iCloud account using Apple's iCloud services. This data belongs to you.
We do not have access to this data, cannot view it, and cannot retrieve it on your behalf.
iCloud Storage and Security
Rewoven uses Apple iCloud to store your data securely.
Your data is stored in your private iCloud container
Data is encrypted and managed by Apple
Only you, via your Apple ID, can access your data
AllTooDev Limited does not operate or control the storage infrastructure
The App does not maintain its own backend servers for user data.
If you sign out of iCloud or disable iCloud for Rewoven, data syncing may be affected.
Apple Music and Spotify Integration
Rewoven can optionally integrate with Apple Music and Spotify to help match or enrich vinyl metadata and listening context.
These integrations are entirely optional
They are only used when explicitly enabled by you
No data is shared without your consent
Rewoven does not store Apple Music or Spotify account credentials. Any interactions with these services are handled directly through their official APIs and are subject to their respective privacy policies.
Google Books
Rewoven uses the Google Books API to search for books and retrieve cover artwork and metadata when you add books to your library.
Google Books is used only to look up book information you explicitly search for
No personal data is sent to Google Books beyond the search query itself
Rewoven does not store or transmit your reading history to Google
Use of the Google Books API is subject to Google's Privacy Policy
Use of Information
Information within Rewoven is used solely to provide the core functionality of the App, including:
Managing your vinyl collection and book library
Surfacing records to play and books to read
Displaying artwork and metadata
Logging play history and reading sessions
Supporting optional discovery features
Powering widgets, Live Activities, and on-device features
We do not sell, share, or monetise user data. Rewoven does not include advertising or third-party analytics that track users across apps.
Third-Party Services
Rewoven may interact with third-party services only when required for specific features, such as:
Apple iCloud (data storage)
Discogs (vinyl searching, barcode identification)
Google Books (book searching and metadata)
Apple Music (optional integration)
Spotify (optional integration)
These services operate independently and are governed by their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies before enabling integrations.
Data Access and Control
Because your data is stored in iCloud:
You retain full control over your data
You may manage, export, or delete your data using Apple's system tools
Removing the App or disabling iCloud for Rewoven will stop data syncing
We cannot access, modify, or delete your data on your behalf.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
